Neil Rollinson the Builder
What has us got here?
The shell of a hairdresser’s shop,
a bank, an old coaching inn,
and who knows what else
in the dim and distant past,
dirty and dusty from frack
to bunt, the floors all damp
and screedy, the yellow welts
of datums scarring the plaster.
